重庆棒棒

中国重庆市，是个山城，这里有一个特殊的群人—挑夫。他们每天工作很长时间，累了就在路边歇一会，有些人天黑了还在干活。他们要挣钱养家。这个现象已经有100多年历史了，最多时有30多万挑夫。现在挑夫的人数已经减少了很多，但是还有一些挑夫在坚持，他们中不乏老者。他们靠自己的肩膀，承担着一家人的生活。

In Chongqing, China, “the City of Mountains”, there is a distinctive group of people-porters. They work long hours every day, and only take short breaks on road curbs when they are tired out.Some even work in the dark. They have to earn money to support their families. Porters have a history of more than 100 years, with a number of over 300,000 at its peak. Although the number of porters has declined drastically, there are still quite a few who relies on the business. Among them, some are very old. For most of the porters, raising families on their shoulders is the only choice they can make.
